There are three repair methods:
① Install a copper pipe in the original drain pipe. After annealing a copper pipe with a diameter of 4mm-6mm and a length of 40cm-60cm, use sandpaper to smooth one end to prevent damage to the original drainage pipe during insertion. Then, the copper pipe’s smooth nozzle is removed from the bottom of the display cooler body. The drain port is inserted, the length is suitable to reach the top of the freezer. If the copper pipe is still blocked by ice, remove and insert the copper pipe, and weld one of the copper pipe mouths to death. After evacuating the copper pipe, add some refrigerant and seal it (first use a sealing pliers to seal, and then use gas welding to seal Treatment), and then inserted into the original drain pipe, basically can solve the problem of ice blocking.
②Move the drain pipe in the display cooler body position. This method is mostly used for display coolers during the warranty period and has the same type of backplane provided by the factory. The method is to open the back panel of the display cooler body, dig out the foam near the drain pipe to expose the drain pipe, and move the drain pipe outward to make it farther away from the body of the display cooler. Then re-foam and seal the excavated part and install a new back panel.
③Repair the display cooler body. This method is more complicated, but the repair effect is good. The sequence of operation is: open the compressor process tube to release air, remove the compressor and block each tube port, and place the display cooler body flat. From the bottom of the display cooler body, press the arrow position to cut a square opening of the tin sheet, and fold the cut iron sheet from one side. From the cut square opening, dig up the foam plastic along the drain pipe until it reaches The drain hole of the refrigerator compartment is filled with 2cm-3cm thick plastic foam between the inner tank of the display cooler and the drain pipe to fix the drain pipe, and then re-foam.
[Note] You must be careful when digging out the original foam, and do not damage the drain pipe, condenser or display cooler body. When re-foaming, protect the inner bladder of the display cooler to prevent local bulging. The reason why the compressor should be removed during this method is to prevent the damping spring in the compressor from detaching when the display cooler body is laid flat.
